Peel privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Peel: Daily Affirmation Notes ("Peel") is made by Usha Thorat. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Peel.

What Peel collects

Nothing. Peel does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.

Your notes

The notes you write are stored only on your device, inside Peel's private storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. If your device is backed up to iCloud, your notes may be included in that backup, which is handled by Apple under their privacy policy.

Saving and sharing a note

If you tap "Download image", Peel asks for permission to add a picture of that note to your Photos. This permission only lets Peel add pictures; it cannot see or read your photo library. If you share a note, it goes only to the app and the people you choose in the share sheet.

Links

Settings has links to our website, our X profile, our other app, the App Store, and (in the United States) our Ko-fi page. These open in your browser or the relevant app, which have their own privacy policies. Peel itself sends nothing.

Deleting your data

You can delete notes inside the app by long-pressing them on the Wall. Deleting the app removes all of its notes from your device.

Children

Peel does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
